I would like to offer my support and unreserved recommendation to the outstanding equine services offered by Breanna McCoy (Bearden), her staff, and the premiere facilities of Blue Moon Equestrian Center. I have had the magnificent privilege of observing the professional instruction offered by Breanna and her staff for the past year and a half since my 11 year old daughter began her riding lessons at Blue Moon.
My personal experience in the horse community is at best limited in scope, however, as a flight instructor and professional airline pilot for the past 18 years I have developed a very keen understanding of training and instructing in a uniquely dynamic environment, and within the past three years I have observed distinct similarities in the instruction of horsemanship. Breanna and her instructing staff maintain a conscientious dedication to the safety and care of the riders and horses, remain vigilant in expanding their knowledge base and application of techniques, and approach the learning environment with an adaptive nature that focuses on the motivation and well-being of the student.
Witnessing my daughter's growth as a rider in the short time that she has worked with Breanna is a testament to the success of the dressage and hunter/jumper program that Breanna has developed at Blue Moon. From a timid and uncertain novice rider, my daughter has progressed to a self-confident and responsible horseman consistently placing in the top of her classes at the varying competitions that Blue Moon attends. Aside from the successes in my daughter's equine endeavors, the experiences and training at Blue Moon have provided her with a sense of responsibility, dedication to detail, and confidence that has carried forth into her academic and additional extracurricular activities.
The experience at Blue Moon has been a truly outstanding and positive journey for my daughter, and the infectious passion and dedication that Breanna maintains for her sport and the care of the horses is tantamount to this success. An outstanding opportunity for young and new riders, or the advanced horseman, Breanna's gentle demeanor, years of accumulated experience and knowledge, and indomitable spirit compliment well the dressage and hunter/jumper riding programs offered at Blue Moon.

Breanna is a great mentor and trainer. I have known and ridden with her for a year now, and have grown as a rider. She regularly updates her knowledge through other trainers. She knows how to change up her style of teaching to best fit everyone, while still giving the same knowledge. I have ridden with my past trainer for 9 years and breanna definitely made my transition to her training smooth.
